Private Elias Clark, Jr.,born 9 October 1831 in Bainbridge, Chenango County, New York; died 18 August 1916 at Washington Veteran's Home, Retsil, Kitsap County, Washington. He served as a Private, Company F, 74th Illinois Volunteer Infantry (Union); enlisted 11 August 1862 at Winnebago, Winnebago County, Illinois; discharged 11 December 1862 at Nashville, Tennessee due to chronic illness. He reenlisted on 7 September 1864 as a Private, Company D, 20th Michigan Volunteer Infantry (Union) at Jackson, Michigan; transferred to Company C in October 1864; discharged 30 May 1865, Delaney House, Washington D.C.

Private Clark is interred at the Saar Pioneer Cemetery located at
SR-167 and South 212th Street, Kent, Washington
